An eloquent and detailed map of Paris. Known as 'La Ville Lumière', and 'The City of Love', my map shows over 100 historic and modern sites around the city, and includes a brief history from its Roman founding to the modern day. The cartouche and border decorations were inspired by 18th-century French maps, and the border around the title illustrates seven of the most iconic structures.Here for sale are fine art prints of my Paris Map. The original was drawn by hand in 2018 on vellum (as a birthday and Christmas gift for my sister - lucky her!). It took me about four months to research, plan, and draw. I began with a pencil sketch, then used ink dip pens with calligraphy and drawing nibs.This award-winning map makes an extraordinary gift for anyone who has ever visited or lived in Paris.
