The Durham Pub Map was the first map I drew for Manuscript Maps, and shows all of the pubs in the City of Durham and its environs. Much of the rest of Durham is mapped too, including the medieval bridges, marketplace, Durham University (including it's colleges), and of course the World Heritage Durham Cathedral and Castle. The map is completed with drawn façades of 16 of the best pubs in the city.

The map took me about 90 hours over 3 months to draw, beginning with a pencil sketch, then drawing with ink dip-pens and calligraphy/drawing nibs.

Here for sale are fine art prints of the third edition of my Durham Pub Map. This edition was revised in November 2019 with many updates: some new pubs that have opened, some name changes, and the map now also shows 32 well-loved historic pubs from the past, as well as some favourite ‘moderne bars’ in the city centre.

This map makes a perfect gift for anyone who has ever lived in or visited Durham - the gem of the North East. The map can be rolled (£55), mounted (£65) or framed (£115)
