 Coming together with a "strength in numbers" attitude allows us to support local, independent creatives by providing high street selling opportunities in the heart of Durham City. Think of us as the best local craft market but on the high street and open seven days a week.

 

Elvet & Bailey is owned and operated by Creative Spaces Durham CIC - a social enterprise designed to use its profits and assets to benefit the community.

 

Our aim is to support, develop and benefit small scale, County Durham based creative businesses focusing on handmade gifts, as well as providing an environment where people of all ages and abilities can come together to develop craft skills. Upstairs we will be developing a creative space for workshops and crafting for the community, so watch out for more information.
