Copperplate Calligraphy

Copperplate is a traditional calligraphy script written with a pointed nib and a sound basis for more modern and expressive styles. In this friendly and informal workshop, calligrapher Angela Reed will help you get to grips with using a dip pen and ink, before guiding you through the basic strokes required to form lower case and upper case letters and join them together to create beautifully handwritten words. The ticket price includes a starter kit for you to use during the session and take home with your afterwards to continue your practice. Refreshments will be also provided.

Unfortunately, refunds may not be issued within seven days of the workshop in the event of illness or other reason for cancellation unless we can fill your space. If the event is cancelled by the tutor or venue, a full refund will be issued.
