FREE environmental sound workshop.

This February half-term take a listen to Durham’s underwater soundscapes, and create your own sound-inspired flip book. There’ll also be the chance to listen beneath the surface of the River Wear for yourself!

Suitable for all ages; children should be under the supervision of an adult.

Hosted by two local artists: sound recordist/musician David de la Haye, and contemporary artist Alice Highet.

In the workshop you will be:

- listening to examples in E&B - Then the group will walk down to the river - river listening - drawing the sounds - walk back - create your own flipbook of  'moving sounds'
