Landscape Linocutting

A chance to print your own original linocut print, with artist Kate Miller. Bring along an A5 size photo or print-out of your favourite Durham view, and learn how to make it into an original artwork. During the class you will design your print, cut the block and print a one-block, one-colour print to take home with you. A great introduction to lino printing.

The workshop includes refreshments and you will leave with your own lino block that you can use for printing and an A5 black and white print. 

The workshop is suitable for ages 9+. The view does not need to be of Durham, it could be of a favourite place or building. You will need to bring an A5 image that you will trace from. 

This workshops requires a minimum of 6 participants to run. If this number isn't reached the workshop may be cancelled.
