The Whisky Map of Scotland features all the current single malt and grain distilleries in Scotland. It also includes known distilleries opening in the next few years, proposed new distilleries, and distilleries that have closed since the 1960s, from which you might still come across a rare bottle. Currently on its 8th edition, the map was updated in November 2020 to include some recently-opened and new forthcoming and proposed distilleries.

Intricately-detailed, this map was originally drawn by hand in 2014. It took 130 hours over four months to research, plan, and draw. I began with a pencil sketch, then used ink dip pens with calligraphy and drawing nibs. The fine lines shading the sea alone took 8 hours. Each line – less than 1mm apart – was drawn one at a time!

The Whisky Map has been printed onto a high-quality 100% cotton tea towel, which will look fabulous in your kitchen or home bar.
